About MotorDox
MotorDox is a solo side project by a car enthusiast who found that finding the right car specs was always a struggle, so they built a site to help anyone looking for specs.

Where the data comes from
Make, model and trim names start from DVLA register extracts. A registration search on the homepage calls the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service and matches the result to a catalogue entry.
Photographs come from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. The page shows the artist and licence when that credit was stored with the image.
UK fuel economy, CO₂, engine size, fuel type, transmission, Euro standard and noise can be filled from the free Vehicle Certification Agency car fuel download. data.gov.uk lists that dataset as Creative Commons Attribution: Car fuel data, CO2 and vehicle tax tools.
Specification figures are stored only when they come from a published source. A figure that cannot be verified is left blank and the page shows Not available. The spec glossary explains what each label means.
If a specification looks wrong, report a correction and include the make, model, generation and trim.
